POLINELA SPEECH CONTEST (PSC)

1. Participants requirements
• Participants come from senior high school in Lampung
• Participants are an individual
• Participants have to make their original text according to the topics who was given by committee.
• The topics are around issues from, economic, social, politics, culture, science and Technology, Environment and Education that was developed in Indonesia.

2. Implementation period
• Regristation and aggregation text : March 1st – March 28th 2010
• Valuation will be held when the participants delivered their speech
• Announcement the winner will be held at April 3rd 2010 .

3. Provisions the speech text
• The text have to original by the participants
• speech typed in the form of a paragraph, types of font times new roman 12, spacing 1.5, size of paper A4, size of margin, right margin 4 cm, left , top, bottom margin are 3 cm. The maximum of the text are two-page
• Duration of speech are 5-7 minutes
• speeches delivered in the form of hard copy and its duplicates by 3
• When the participants deliver their speech, they haven’t to bring the text, but it is allowed to bring their small note

4. Gift
1st winner : Rp. 600.000 + trophy + certificate
2nd winner : Rp. 400.000 + trophy + certificate
3rd winner : Rp. 200.000 + trophy + certificate

POLINELA NATIONAL SCRABBLE COMPETITION (PNSC)

1. Emulation System
Polinela National Scrabble Competition using Collins Scrabble Word (CSW).

2. Participant Requirements
a. Participants come from student of high school ,students of university and Other Institution
b. Participants team consisting of two person .
c Each registered participant is only allowed in a team.


3. Gift
• 1st Winner : Rp. 2,000,000 + trophy + certificate
• 2nd Winner : Rp. 1,500,000 + trophy + certificate
• 3rd Winner : Rp. 1,000,000 + trophy + certificate
• Best bingo : certificates

4. Competition Format

1. Preliminary Round
The first phase consists of 3 preliminary rounds. There will be 64 teams competing randomly against each other. And 16 teams with the highest score and margin will proceed to the next round. The competition format it is each team will draw three numbers from three boxes available.

2. Octo Final Round
In this round, 16 teams will be divided into 4 group (A, B, C, D). Group A will consist of rank 1, 5, 9, 13; group B will consist of rank 2, 6, 10, 14; group C will consist of rank 3, 7, 11, 15; group D will consist of rank 4, 8, 12, 16. They will compete 3 times. We will pick 2 best teams from each group, and 8 best teams goes to the Quarter Final Round.

3. Quarter Final Round
In this round, from this 8 teams will compete 2 times with same team. The competition format it are the 1st rank from group A VS the 2nd rank from group C, it’s as match 1 and
the 2nd rank from group A VS The 1st fro group C , it’s as match 2. And than the 1st rank from group B VS the 2nd rank from group D, It’s as match 3 and the 2nd rank from group B VS the 1st rank from group D, it’s as match 4. And the last in this round will there are 4 best team goes to the semi final round.

4. Semi Final Round
From 4 best teams will compete against for goes to final round. The winner from match 1 will compete with the winner from match 3, and the winner match 2 will compete match 4. The teams that win will continue to the finals; while the other 2 teams that lose will compete for the third place.
5. Final Round
In final round, the winner will be first and the loser will be in second place.

POLINELA DEBATING CHAMPIONSHIP (PDC)

1. Emulation System
This competition is using Australian Parlementary System (APS), in this system ,it’s gonna be contents by 2 (two) teams consisting of 3 (three) participants. The team are consists by "affirmative team" (the government team) and "negative team" (the Opponent team). 1st ,2nd , 3rd , speaker from the positive team or negative teams have the opportunity to express their opinions as long as 7 minutes a participants. The speaker of the affirmative have to defend the opinion that they support the substance prescribed topics. Opponent team have to give a rebuttal to the opinion expressed by the Affirmative Team. The debate ended with the presentation summary of the opinions that have been submitted by the team and the opposing team, with 5 minutes by the speaker cover (Replay Speaker). And there is no POI ( point of information )

2. Adjudicator
The jury in the debate by using the APS called Adjudicator. Adjudicator arranged by a team which 3 (three) people in an adjudicator team. All of the adjudicator have to give an assessment of the performance from any speaker's from the negative or affirmative team. In the end of debate the adjudicator have to gives a summary and announced to the participants. Adjudicator consists by the co-participantswho have experience to be an adjudicator in this system. To make the same perception of the adjudicator, we held training before the competition will be held.

3. Winners
Winner of debate with the APS system include by First Winner (The Champion), second winner (Runner Up), and the third Winner (Second Runner-Up)3rd winner is a team who unincluded to Grand Final from the big four team, so there is the 3rd winner with two considerations provide a balanced appreciation of the team that is not included in the Grand Final. In the orther sides the award was given also to the Best Speaker . at the end of the competition. In each session was also chosen the best speakers. Award as the best speaker at


the end of this race activities based on a member of the team who get the most predicate as the best speakers in each session.

4. Competition Materials
competition Material are talking about around issues from Economic, Social, Politics, Culture, Science and Technology, Environment and Education wich is developing in Indonesia

5. Gift
• The Champion : Rp. 750,000 + trophy + certificate
• The Runner Up : Rp. 500,000 + trophy + certificate
• The 2nd Runner Up : Rp. 300,000 + trophy + certificate
• The best speakers : Rp. 100,000 + certificate
